The Silver Lining is a 1927 British silent drama film directed by Thomas Bentley and starring Marie Ault, Patrick Aherne and Moore Marriott. Widow Hurst has two sons who fall out over a girl. One son attempts to frame the other for the theft of some pearls but when his brother is imprisoned he eventually confesses his crime to his mother and guilt ridden arranges for a band of gypsies to shoot him.
